Note:To get the date icon near posts you will have to chane settings in Formatting.
Mushblue originally happens to be a wordpress theme which was converted to blogger by Jack.The theme has a great header which goes well with its dark background.do check out the page here on how to install and tweak this template.

- Go to your Dashboard — Settings — Formatting
- There you should see Timestamp Format selector there.
- choose the format as it’s shown here eg:- Sunday may 31 2008
- Setting, Refresh your blog and Done.
